DJ Urban Bear Street Fair

DJ, event producer, activist, author, poet and trouble gardener, DJ Chauncey D has been a sound selector for just about every gay bar in NYC throughout his 18+ year career. He annually provides the soundscape for The Urban Bear Street Fair & Folsom Street East and hosts his annual Madonna Worship Night, celebrating its 16th year, where he took his infamous All Madonna-themed party to Lisbon in 2020. He continues to enjoy his 10 year residency at the legendary Stonewall Inn as in-house tech & DJ for drag shows, cabaret performances, parties, and more, while lending his talents to countless fundraisers and causes. Deb (aka “Mama Bear”) is a Bearish Leather Woman. In addition to coordinating Urban Bear’s awesome annual street fair, she’s a social worker, spiritual & gospel singer, occasional writer. JAY SAINT
ASSOCIATE PRODUCER / Volunteer Coordinator

Jay hails from Chicago, now living in NYC for 10 years (For those wondering,Chicago pizza is better). He successfully competed to become Mr. Rockbear 2020, and happily continues holding the Mr. Rockbear title. Jay is also a civil rights advocate who investigates discrimination cases and educates the general public on civil rights related issues. You can often find him having drinks and probably doing splits (yes, splits!)on the stage at Rockbar. jay.saint@theurbanbear.com
